Project update

So... I cut the squares (rather large ones, since it's my first quilt and I'm a bit lazy) and sewed them together. Some of the corners turned out a bit askew, but all in all I'm proud of the result. Now I need to add the back and some padding, and then quilt it together. Unfortunately the woman in the fabric store cut the padding too small, so I have to excange it before I can proceed with the project...

The quilt top looks beautiful draped over your ironing board..I hope the lady will exchange your padding!

Så flink du er! Jeg bestemte for meg selv da jeg sydde mitt første lille lappeteppe for ikke lenge siden at hjørner som treffer hverandre helt perfekt er kjedelig... :)

@Carol: Thank you Carol! She was very kind and cut me a new piece. Next step: quilting.

@AbluMoo: Tak! Perfekt og kedeligt, det gider vi ikke :-)

Love some of the prints in your quilt!! The colors are so fun and alive. Congratulations on your first quilt ..... am sure there will be many more you will create! You are going to enjoy taking a nap under you own creation!

Hope you have a great week. We are getting ready to help with the planting on the farm, so I'll catch up with your blog when we are done!

Thanks for sharing your art.

Hello Anja! I'm so happy to see your new project! You have so beautiful fabrics and that quilt is going to be wonderful! Simple squares are so good because they allow the fabric to be seen well! Have a lovely week! Teje
