Here in Copenhagen it's been raining and so windy that it feels just like autumn! I hope it's not too late for an indian summer...

(I've been having problems commenting on blogs, and I suspect the same is the case here on The Sky from my Window. I hope Blogger solves the problem soon!)

Back in blue

My summer break is over and it's good to be back! I hope you've had a great summer? Rune and I have spent the last weeks getting more healthy, eating better food and doing more excersise. After having been overweight most of my life, I have decided to get a gastric bypass operation and prior to the operation I have to lose 10 % of my weight. -So that has been our summer project and we're doing really well, between us we've lost 20 kg (44 lbs) over the last 7 weeks!

I'm off!

Haven't had much time to blog lately, lots of things going on right now... I'm going to take a little summer break from the blog, but I'll be back in august :-)

Light!

It feels like a light has been turned on... As I wrote in a previous post, I'd been a bit under the weather, feeling extremely tired and weak. Well, it turned out I had pneumonia, so no wonder. After a week on antibiotics I feel much better! Things are looking up, the light is back on...

A love letter to hydrangeas and to my darling Rune. It's our 3 year wedding anniversary today. How time flies! We had pink and blue hydrangeas in the church at our wedding and they will forever remind me of that special day.

Catching up

A lovely petunia to wish you a nice weekend. A bit early perhaps, but tomorrow is a holiday here in Denmark, so we'll be off for a mini break at my favorite hotel in Malmo, Sweden.

Hopefully I'll get the chance to take some nice phtos there. I haven't been out with the camera very much recently, been a bit under the weather and busy trying to sort out our messy appartment. Where does all that stuff come from?! Makes me long for some simple living... Anyway, hope you have a great weekend!
