The way to the beach
This week we've gone to the north of Denmark for a little Easter break with my family. The weather is amazing, the nature here is breathtaking and we're relaxing. Perfect!

Project update
So... I cut the squares (rather large ones, since it's my first quilt and I'm a bit lazy) and sewed them together. Some of the corners turned out a bit askew, but all in all I'm proud of the result. Now I need to add the back and some padding, and then quilt it together. Unfortunately the woman in the fabric store cut the padding too small, so I have to excange it before I can proceed with the project...

A new project
My kitchen project has come to a standstill, my knitting hasn't been touched for ages....Guess it's time for a new project :-) I'm going to do a patchwork quilt (my first!) from all these lovely fabrics. Nothing fancy, just a lot of squares. It will look so good in our new sofa! The sofa will be delivered in may, so I'm hoping to have my project finished by then...

Blowing in the wind
It's been very windy here the last couple of days. So much, that yesterday the roof blew off a supermarket close to where we live! Thankfully there were no casualties.
